My Passions
If you are going to read my blog, I suppose it is a good idea to know what I believe, right? Well, in that case, I would love to tell you about some of my passions. These are not all of them, but they are certainly some of my top passions.
~ Jesus. He really is my only hope. Without Him I am purposeless. His love is why I am here. He is THE Way, THE Truth and THE Life. Amen and amen.
~ The Bible. The Word of God is the answer to life. It is 100% true. It is greater than anything in this world.
~ The Family. I mean the Family in general. Families seeking God are the key to a people after God's heart. Where goes the family, where goes the Church and where goes the Church is where the nation goes.
~ The Church. The Church is totally influenced by the many Christian families filling our pews and chairs. The Church is the bride of Christ. It has the potential to flip the world upside down... if we would just be the body of Christ and move.
~ Purity. Purity in everything. TV, music, words, romantic relationships. I love sharing about a Biblical relationship.... how to wait for the right one and how to be done waiting when he or she is brought to you by God.
~ The Arts. I love the Arts. God uses the Arts to spread His Word and as His children He calls us to use the Arts for His glory and His glory alone.
~ Missions. Spreading the Gospel. The Good News. The love of God. Whether is be sharing about Jesus in Walmart or in the jungles of Africa, it's all important.
~ Reading. Leaders are readers.
~ Homeschool. I was homeschooled for 13 years and I wouldn't trade anything for the way my parents raised me. Homeschool was more than school, it was training to be a follower of Jesus and to live for Him in all I do.
